Kodana to Train Rico Tesio PIMLICO. Baltimore. Md.. May 5. — Trainer Karry Kodana. the Japanese conditioner who has been handling the eastern division of the Briardale Farms string here in Maryland, revealed that owner Anthony Imbesi, who was a visitor at Pimlico yesterday, has turned over to him the training of Rico Tesio. Tenth in the Kentucky Derby. Rico Tesio arrived at Pimlico Monday afternoon with the Brookmeade Stables Sword Dancer. Trainer Joseph Pia-rulli, who has been handling Rico Tesio. is remaining in New York this week to prepare his stakes winning Vertex for the Grey Lag Handicap at Jamaica on Saturday.
