IMELDA closed resolutely from a slow beginning. JANE BRUSH could not keep up. ORIENTAL BOOT began well, but lacked speed. DEARZIN was outrun. MISS WISE, quit. PRINCE DANNY, a strong factor from the start, might have overhauled the winner but for being impeded. FIELD DAY, on the inside most of the way, was taken out in the stretch, closed gamely and was overhauling the leaders. ECCENTRIC went well in an improved effort. DORA MAY, away slowly, failed to be dangerous COHORT LASS was outrun. The others were outrun.
