TODAYS FOOT INFECTED LEXINGTON, Ky., June 6. Major Louie A. Beard, general manager of the racing and thoroughbred breeding interests of the Whitney families, left by motor for New York where he will remain on business several days. Major Beard stated that the good colt Today has been turned out at Red Bank, N. J., and probably will be taken up again about the middle of this month. An infection wa3 discovered In one of Todays fore feet, apparently the result of bruises caused by the colt striking himself. It was necessary to cut away a portion of the hoof to allow the injury to heal properly, -
