ISSUE THIRD DETROIT BOOK Conditions Published for Derby Week Special Handicap Book Covers Eight-Day Period. - DETROIT, Mich., June 6. The third issue of conditions books for the meeting were distributed among the horsemen today. The books cover an eight-day period ending June 18. The book also carries the conditions for the ,000 added Derby Week Special Handicap. It is open to three-year-olds and up with a nomination fee of 0 to accompany each entry. The starting fee for the nine furlongs journey is 0. Next Monday and Tuesday a ,000 handicap features the program. The ,500 University of Michigan Handicap is carded for Wednesday, the Derby Week Special Thursday, and Friday a ,000 handicap and a ,000 purse race are scheduled. The 5,000 added Detroit Derby brings the gala week to a close with its decision at a mile and three-sixteenths on Saturday.
