Won driving; second and third the same. MY TOMMIE broke fast, forced a fast pace, came to the outside in the stretch, wore down MISINFORMATION, but had to be ridden out to hold ALMA DELLA. The latter, away well, raced greenly, came between horses in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. DONNACONA KID was rushed into a contending position, saved ground in the stretch and held on well. MISINFORMATION showed good early speed, but tired in the final eighth. FAIR GEM broke slowly. WHISK K. broke fast but was outrun by DONERINA for the first three-eighths, took the lead on the lower turn, but lost much ground by racing wide and finished far out, though holding MOSS BOND safe. MOSS BOND, well placed in the early going, closed gamely in the stretch and was going well at the end. DONERINA showed early speed, saved ground all the way and had no excuses. RUNANWIN, outrun early, worked her way up gradually, came to the outside in the stretch, wore down -the leaders and drew clear near the end. LADY BRACADALE, far back early, closed with a rush in the stretch and was coins; fastest at the finish. DARRAUGH, close to the early pace, took the lead in the stretch when JUST MARIE raced wide, but tired in the final sixteenth. SISTER VINIE was prominent all the way. JUST MARIE showed good early speed, drew away into a good lead on the lower turn, but bolted entering the stretch and finished on the extreme outside. DR. McLARNEY and DIXIE BINDER both quit.
