GOOD WEATHER AT COLUMBUS COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 2 Coming with a brilliant rush in the stretch, F. T. Taylors Prince Reno overhauled Sequoia, the leader, in the last few yards of the Herpichs Drug Stores Purse, best offering at Beulah Park this aftenoon. Polisher raced in third place throughout. Goodbye Blues, the favorite and early pacemaker, tired in the final furlong. Ideal weather conditions prevailed. Many of the days winners came from unexpected quarters. Granbury, Persuader and Through Fairly led by safe margins throughout to score handily in their respective races. Beeaway outgamed Rough Lane by a head in the stretch test of the first. Wild Daughter stumbled and fell with jockey T. Dowell at the first turn of the sixth race! Glynhurst stumbled over her, unseating jockey Derden. Both riders escaped injury. For rough riding on Granbury in the fourth race, jockey J. Long was set down for the balance of the meeting.
