HIGH BOTTOM, going in its best form and on the inside, wore CLAREMONT down in the drive, but failed to withstand the winner. CLAREMONT moved up fast after five-sixteenths, forged to the front nearing the final quarter, swung wido entering the stretch and tired. ANA X., outrun early, was sent through the field when improving her position and finished well. BROWN HILDA showed little. TWIDGETS tired after improving her position. ALL NIGHT quit. HOCKING, forced to lose ground when racing forward, finished well. SWORD CRAFT, outrun for a half mile, was sent through the field for the drive and closed with a rush. INHERITOR had no mishaps. IMA GREENOCK raced wide. WICCES rushed into a long lead during the opening quarter and quit under pressure. GAY BANNER quit. Overweight Dependant, 1 pound; Nedvivc, 2; Little Peggy, 2.
