i HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES o $ Tom Wordens Mansco, winner last year of the Hawthorne Juvenile Handicap and Joliet Handicap at Lincoln Fields, will arrive to join the extensive Worden string in a few days. Mansco trained off last spring f in Texas and was shipped to the farm. Dr. George McKillip and Misses OBrien and Rapp will address a meeting of the Horsemens Social and Educational Club of Illinois at Hawthorne race track at 10:15 A. M. on Wednesday, June 3. W. J. Pouk, father of jockey Francis Polk came from the Polk home in Bloomfield n! J., and will make an indefinite stay. Tranquillity Farms Challite, winner of her only start, may be shipped to Detroit to fill a stakes engagement Saturday.
