SPRINTERS IN BELLE ISLE DETROIT, Mich., June 2. Twenty-one sprinters were named for the Belle Isle Handicap, and twenty-three juveniles for the St. Clair Stakes. The two stakes will divide stellar honors at Detroit Saturday. The Belle Isle, a six furlongs sprint, carries ,000 in added money, and the St. Clair, the first of three stakes to be offered here for two-year-olds, is a ,000 added prize and will be decided at the end of five furlongs. Those named for the Belle Isle Handicap are: Sun Monk, Billy Bee, Sound Advice, Reaping, Sir Michael, The Pelican, Preeminent, Isaiah, Holdum Brown, Indiantown, Marynell, Miney Myerson, Ridge Mor, Born Happy, Jimmy Cabaniss, Croon, Sablin, Grand Rock, Rock X., YVesty Junior and Silverette. Those eligible for the St. Clair Stakes are Gold Band, Star Cluster, Old Fondo, Metropole, Rome Haul, Grey Gold, Valley Lee, Lady Sybil, Clingendaal, All Agog, Misapprehension, Little Upset, Genial Manners, Fumble, Virginia J., Linlace, Prince Sador, Miss Dolphin, Rebecca Lee, Challite, Gene Wagers, Wahcoo and Makus.
