Post time for the first race each day at Duff erin Park will be 2:30 p. m. and there will be free admission after the fifth race week days. All the old popular forms of wagering will be in vogue at the meeting. While galloping J. C. Fletchers Locar on Tuesday morning, apprentice E. Primrose was tossed from the horse but suffered only slight injuries. However, the apprentice allowance was waived on Zakuska in the third race which Primrose wa- slated to ride and jockey N. Foden was substituted. Jockey Frank Madeley has been engaged to ride the horses that trainer Lloyd Gentry will campaign at Duff erin Park. Harold Raines, who has several useful horses on the Ontario circuit, returned from Detroit where he witnessed the running of the 5,000 added Detroit Derby. Black Falcon and R. Pinchot recently transferred from Woodbine Park to Long Branch to augment the Eringdale Stable, have been placed in training and sre due to appear in colors shortly. They are in charge of Arthur Brent. Several stables are preparing to leave for Montreal to race on the Quebec circuit in the event that racing is resumed in that vicinity. There are over a hundred horses in the local area that were campaigned at Kings Park. Mount Royal, Dorval, Blue Bonnets and Connaught Park in the first few years.
