LADIES DAY AT RIVERSIDE Responsible for Another Large Crowd at Kansas City Track Easy Win for Sky Rhonda. KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 16. Ideal, weather conditions, coupled with the fact it was Ladies Day, attracted another large crowd to witness the sport, which consisted of eight races, and while every race had the claiming clause attached, interesting sport resulted and.was thoroughly enjoyed by the fans. Sky Rhonda, from the Gillespie Land and Irrigation Co. stable, was returned another easy winner of the initial race when she easily led home the odds-on favorite, Kittys Rival, by two lengths, with the latter a length in the van of the Wichita Stables Billy Mole, while the latter was easily best of the others. A driving finish resulted in the running of the second race, which was at six furlongs for maiden three-year-olds, and twelve of that age went postward. Extrano, from the Three Ds Stock Farm Stable, was the one to graduate from the non-winners ranks. A neck back and closing gamely, came G. Shultz Prince Pad, which was another neck in the van of Wonder Run. Extrano took command from the break and stood a long drive gamely to outlast Prince Pad. Wonder Run, the one that finished third, was far back for the first half mile, but came to the outside in the stretch and was going fastest at the end.
