BELGIAN STRIKE SPREADS BRUSSELS. Belgium, June 16. With approximately 150,000 workers on strike, Van Zceland formed a committee for restoration of public order. The premier took over the presidency of the committee himself, as 5,300 more workers joined the walk-out. The diamond handlers of Antwerp returned to their jobs, but miners, longshoremen and metal workers gave a new impetus to the strike.
