ALEXANDRINE was rushed into command after the break and showed speed, responded to pressure and held on gamely. CHANTING was bothered in the early running and, slow to settle into her stride, was steered to the outside rounding the turn and finished well. LUCKY DUCKY, in nearest pursuit of the early pace, sprawled in the going and swerved to the inside at the end. SWAHILI was well up in the early stages, but quit. VICKSON was outrun. EARLY DAWN finished- well. GUNWALE followed the early pace under steady restraint, but quit in the stretch run. ARTFUL PRINCE showed early speed. SUPREMADOR began slowly, but improved his position steadily, responded to urging and wore down FLYING TRAPEZE in the final sixteenth after racing greenly throughout. FLYING TRAPEZE was rushed into the lead after the break, showed early speed and held on with good courage to the finish. SCROOGE overcame early interference, moved up stoutly at the turn and finished well. MAESPUR, outrun in the early stages, came to the outside for the final eighth and finished fast. HARVESTING made up ground steadily. UNEASY was kept forwardly in the early running, then faltered at the en3. STRABO raced evenly. ANY PLAY and PAY CHECK raced greenly and swerved in the running. The latter dropped back after the break, improved his position under urging, but finished on the outside. ADVANCING had no mishaps. CONTACTO was outrun. KATE, on the outside from the start, began to bear out ncaring the far turn and was bearing out all through the stretch and pulled up very tired. REMINDING was outrun to the stretch turn and made up ground slowly through the stretch. BEAUSYMPATHY was kept close up in the early running, but faltered at the finish. She pulled up slightly lame.
