1 SUFFOLK DOWNS NOTES j Apprentice E. Ramsey arrived from Kentucky to report to his contract employer, C. A. Grande. Ramsey rides -at 103 pounds. F. Kopel left for New York, where he will ride on the Metropolitan circuit for several weeks before returning to Suffolk Downs. Jockey E. Litzenberger will arrive at Suffolk Monday morning to remain for some time. The Gruen Handicap, to be run Saturday as the runner-up to the featured Mayflower, will be especially interesting, for the jockey on the winner is to be presented with a handsome timepiece. . . .... Johnny Kelly, marathon hero and present member of the Olympic team, was a track visitor Friday. Charles McLennan, who has been assisting secretary Ben Holmes since the opening of Suffolk,, leaves Saturday for Chicago to serve as racing secretary at Arlington Park. 1
