SWEETBROOM sprinted into the lead on the way to the first turn, was displaced from the pace by TRUE CHARM, but hung on with determination to the finish. PRECIOUS KING was under pressure throughout, but could not improve his position. JUST REMEMBER, away slowly, was never a real j - threat, lacking its usual stretch speed. The latter, also under restraint for the .first seven-eighths, moved up fast on the outside entering the stretch, but hung in the final drive. SAINTED showed good early speed, but tired when challenged. ROLLICK raced in the middle of the track at all times and finished gamely. RIVER ROSE quit after going a half mile.
