Lord Glanelys Emborough, a son of Gainsborough, won the Manchester Cup, worth over 0,000, and a gold cup from ten rivals, which included five horses imported from France. . This four-year-old was bred at the National Stud and cost Lord Glanely ,500 as a yearling.
