T DETROIT TURF NOTES f -4 Clyde Van Dusen has arranged to van Matas Brother and Manager Mike from here to Arlington Park Monday night. He is shipping two carloads of horses from Latonia to the north side Chicago track at the same time. Brendard and Thatagal will remain at Latonia to fill their engagements in the Latonia Oaks. Jockey Earl Steffen, who came from Suffolk Downs, reported to the Hal Price Head-ley stable. Jockeys L. Balaski and A. Robertson will come from Chicago Saturday to ride Nations Taste and Reaping Reward in the ,000 added Moslem Temple Stakes.
