HAMBURGER JIM WINS AKRON, Ohio, June 19. Showing the way-by a comfortable margin throughout, J. J. Brumages Hamburger Jim was returned an easy winner of the Canteen Purse, best offering at Northampton Park this afternoon. Computer headed Ealcona in the closing strides for second. Following the running, the Canteen Trophy, a beautiful silver cup, was presented to Mr. Brumage by Mr. and Mrs. MacDonald, proprietors of The Canteen. Ideal conditions prevailed, and the Ladies Day turnout swelled the attendance considerably above the average.
