t ARLINGTON PARK NOTES f o : s Roy Dickerson, starter at Arlington Park, has returned from his visit to New York in the interest of the stakes arid will move the Bahr gate into the seven furlongs chute Monday for schooling of horses. The hours will be from six to eight a. m. Additional press quarters have been installed at Arlington Park for the coming meeting. Besides the press box in the main stand there will be a general work rooni arid offices for the track staff in the administration building above the racing secretarys offices, : The proximity of these new quarters to the secretarys office and the paddock is expected to facilitate the scribes pre-race work. Charles J. McLennan, racing secretary at Arlington Park, will arrive from Boston Sunday to direct the final routine of preparation for the opening of the thirty-day meeting on June 29. The five stakes which closed this week met with splendid response from horsemen and McLennan will have his stake book off the press early next week. Coldstream the highly regarded three-year-old son of Bulldog and Nimble Hoof which broke down in the running of the Suburban at Belmont Park, will be despatched to the Coldstream Stud in Kentucky and converted to stud duty just as soon as trainer Alex Gordon can nurse the badly bowed tendon on his xiff, front leg into better condition at Arlington Park. Coldstream was included in the shipment of fifteen horses which arrived here a few days ago from Belmont Park. Twelve new amplifiers have been added to the public address system at Arlington Park. These will be "set on top of the odds board in the field and will throw the sound across the track into the stands. The double row of "horns" under the "main stand roof have been re-arranged arid private tests promise that the address system will be greatly improved for the coming thirty-days meeting. Harry I. Day, inventor of the "Eye In the Sky", most successful of camera-finish devices, reports .that the ..construction of the tower on top pf the grandstand has been" completed and work will begin immediately upon the installation of his machine. Roy Carruthers, secretary of the Arlington Park Jockey Club, inspected the installation Work with Day yesterday. Honest Ben, Golden Miss and Fox Chase, trained by George F. Rung for various interests, were arrivals at Arlington Park. Miss Martha Stewarts Neon, Nawab, Sun-ador and Shake also were registered by trainer Jack Webber.
