1 RIVER DOWNS TURF NOTES T 4 As the general admission price is set at forty cents, no complimentary badges will be issued. Only badges to care for the horse men, officials and working press were printed. Stanley "Buck" Hazard arrived from Lincoln Fields with the consistent Roberta, Indian Head, British Tan, Lone Cloud, Kenton Maid and Bright Rose. They are the property of the locally-owned Kenton Farm Stable. Robert S.. Synopsis, Pre War, Miss Monk, and Five Sisters, which have been resting at the Hyman Friedberg farm, near Louisville, were vanned here and are being trained by Henry Jones. Hill Jimmy, Jerdan and Cossack, which race for Joe Shakespeare, are quartered at Latonia and will be vanned here to fill their engagements. Sweep Like, winner of the Campau Handicap, and Gyral, which was purchased from the Chicago Stable, headed the well-balanced stable trainer A. G. "Lex" Wilson brought here for T. D. Buhl, Detroit sportsman. Othera in the band are Gold Standard, Sun Arena, Jack Conner, Bright Pat and Phala-rope. Apprentice J. Haritos, who rode fifteen winners during the Motor City fall meeting, is with the stable. Jockey J. "Red" Pollard checked in from Detroit and will be astride a majority of the Mrs. C. S. Howard stakes entries. Forget, Macawlee, Flip Flap, Master Beau, Byrdine and Bookmark comprise the useful stable J. S. Sallee has here for Tom and T. C. Piatt.
