Ideal weather conditions prevailed for Thursdays racing at Riverside Park and another large crowd was on hand when the horses went postward for the initial race. The track was still muddy, but, with a hot sun shining, was drying out rapidly. The card was again turned over to the. -cheaper sort and well balanced fields paraded to the post in the majority of the races. Dorothy Alice took the measure of a group of older platers in the opening event "when she just lasted to beat Mary Biddy by a neck. Roselake turned in a good performance to earn a nose decision over Clack in the third over the Futurity course distance, while Corida, held at odds-on in the betting, had little trouble capturing honors in the fourth, also over the Futurity course distance.
