ELIGIBLES WORKED FOR . WESTERN HILLS HANDICAP CINCINNATI, Ohio, Oct. 1. Several eligi-bles for Saturdays ,500 added Western Hills Handicap were seen in useful preparations over a slow track this jnorning. L J. Collins Paradisical turned in a sparkling work when she covered nine furlongs in 1:57 handily. Going along at an even clip, she was timed the quarter in :26, half mile in :51, three-quarters in 1:17 and the mile in 1:44. Mrs. James Chesneys Professor Paul and Cristate were sent a mile and six furlongs, respectively. Professor Paul breezed the mile in 1:50, and Cristate was timed three-quarters in 1:17 . Marynell, which is returning to form and which won two stakes victories in Texas last spring, worked a mile in 1:46 handily. Her fractions were :26, :52, 1:18.
