THE NILES TENTH SUCCESS OF YEAR AT AKRON AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 1. Mrs. I. Seybolds The Nile registered her tenth victory this year when she showed the way by a wide margin throughout the running of the Akron Beacon Journal Purse, fifth and featured attraction at Northampton Park this afternoon. Sun Manor proved to be much the best of the remaining starters, with Catty third. The races were contested over a heavy track but the weather was favorable and a fair crowd was in attendance. Uncle Mike beat the others away to a flying start in the fourth race, and never left the result in doubt Miss Gown, Luko Connell and Arctic Star all came from behind in the run home to earn brackets in their respective races, after keen stretch struggles.
