POMPOON IN RETIREMENT AFTER FUTURITY RACE NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. l.-Pompoon, J. H. Louchheims pre-race favorite for the Futurity, will bo retired following the big race on Saturday. The colt will go to Three Cousins Farm near Hyde, Md., where he will be turned out for the winter months. The colt will be picked up by trainer Clark and prepared for the important three-year-old stakes to bs decided next spring.
