Won easily; second and third driving. GALLADEE gave freely of her speed while under stout restraint during the opening half mile, saved ground on the turn and drew out easily under hand riding to have much in reserve at the end. PUTZEN, well up from the start, made a determined bid at the stretch, but was not good enough while easily holding the others. BALLAH, well up in the early stages, tired slightly in the final quarter. WHIPSTITCH showed an even performance. BLUE BLAZER had no excuses. AIRLAP, energetically handled, rushed to the front soon after the start, was taken to the inside and, well rated until well into the stretch, held on well under hand riding. AIR POCKET was hard ridden to take a position nearest the pacemaker, was under mild restraint to the stretch and finished well under urging. VAN NUYS, on the outside throughout, showed good speed and finished evenly. SUN PETAL lacked early speed, moved up on the inside turning into the stretch and closed with a belated rush. LEE WEE lacked early speed and had to make her way forward between horses, lost ground entering the stretch and closed steadily. HAEHEART, slow to get goine, improved her poition rapidly on the outside in the final quarter. POLY-PHOTE was used up forcing the early pace and faltered in the stretch. LUCKY FOOT was hustled along smartly to keep in close pursuit of the pace and tired badly in the final eighth. AUNT MYRTLE had no excuses. Scratched 35004 Transformed, 100. MACAWLEE was quick to settle into her stride, was on the outside throughout, responded gamely to urging and, going to the leader gradually, drew out in the final fifty yards. ROCKABYE BABE, in near pursuit of the pace and on the inside of the winner, stood a long drive with good courage. BALANCE STEP was under steady rating while showing the most early speed, then tired slightly after losing command. MT. SARD, slow to get going, finished well. OVERTRICK tired. The others were outrun. DELLOR, slow to settle in his stride and on the extreme outside throughout, was placed under stout restraint after the opening eighth, began moving up midway of the turn and, continuing strongly despite the loss of much ground, got to the front inside the sixteenth post to forge out under strong handling. DR. MENENDEZ was sent along sharply to set a fast early pace, bothered VALDINA slightly right after entering the stretch and stood a long drive gamely. PEGGY PORTER, close up from the start on the outside, went to the leader an eighth out, but hung in the drive. VALDINA was tiring when suffering slight interference. CAVOUR showed an even effort. JAMBOREE, hustled to take the lead in the run to the first turn, was guided to the inside, set a steady pace under good rating, but tired suddenly in the final sixteenth. MAPLE RICCA lacked early speed, saved ground to the stretch turn, was taken to the outside and closed with a rush. SPANISH BABE made a strong effort to overtake the leader at the stretch turn, then tired. STAR BUD, well up for three-quarters, tired in the drive. BILLBO, in close quarters going to the first turn, was taken to the outside, rated smoothly to the far turn, moved up stoutly, but tired badly. JUDGE BARKLEY advanced steadily on the second turn, but hung in the stretch drive. BYRDINE showed speed from the start, dropped back on the turn, but came again slightly.
