1 DUFFERIN PARK TURF NOTES f i 4 The stewards at Dufferin Park have granted jockey F. Dougherty permission to ride for his employer, W. Russell, the last two days of the meeting. Dougherty was suspended for five days last Saturday. Frank Score, local merchant, has offered to donate an overcoat to the winning rider in the match race between Colored Artist, Sue Jones and Background, which will be run between the second and third events Friday. Jockey Pat Remillard has taken a four-teen-point lead in the contest for the Presto-Lite wrist watch in the first four days of the meeting, accumulating thirty-eight points. T. Aimers is next, with twenty-four points; M. Mitchell in third place, with twenty-two, and H. Pclaez fourth, with twenty. Trainer A. Brent has arranged to ship the Erindale Stable horses to Narragansett Park at the conclusion of the Dufferin Park meeting Brent had originally planned to ship to Maryland en route to winter racing in Miami.
