f RIVER DOWNS TURF N0TESJ The stewards issued the following ruling this morning: "The riding of apprentice O. Hernandez is unsatisfactory to the stewards and he will not be permitted to accept any further mounts at River Downs." Clarence E. Lehr, president and general manager of the Detroit Racing Association, paid his first visit to River Downs Wednesday. "I never saw a more beautiful track," said Lehr. He is en route to Detroit after a tour of the Blue Grass section of Kentucky. Charles Wilson, old time trainer and paddock judge here and at Thistle Downs, suf- fered a broken ankle when he fell while in his room in a Cincinnati hotel Wednesdav morning. y.
