t EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES f! Jockey Sammy Renick wired to cancel five mounts here Thursday due to his missing plane connections from Lexington. The Wheatley Stables Reminding is due here from Rockingham Park. T. J. Healey, who is at Lexington, will return in time to witness Saturdays racing. Trainer Tom Smith of the C. S. Howard stable, said that the horses would be shipped from here to Tanforan. J. S. Healey, who has recovered from a recent illness, is a dally visitor. Eddie Hillington, former owner, is a clubhouse regular. The Brookmeade Stable horses will be kept at Belmont Park for another two weeks, according to trainer Smith. Count Arthur, owned by Mrs. John Hertz, will be returned to Belmont Park from Keeneland and join the main division of the stable in charge of trainer Lon Johnson. Sea Cradle, which was purchased at private terms on Wednesday by Mrs. W. Flunk-ett Stewart from Marshall Field, will be shipped to Virginia and entered in the stud next spring. The horses owned by Andy Schuttinger will, be raced during the later Maryland meetings and then retired .to Belmont Park for the winter. Earl Sande will forego winter quarters at Belmont Park this year and ship to Miami for the winter season. He has the horses owned by Maxwell Howard of Dayton, Ohio. Jockey F. Schraudenbach. was turned over to Cary Winfrey for the fall season by trainer Hollie Hughes of the Sanf ord Stable. The latter is at Amsterdam, N. Y. The C. H. Knebelkamp stable will be raced at Miami this winter following out the practice of other years.
