f EPSOM DOWNS TURF NOTES f : 4 Starter Val Sulich announced that he has taken off all horses from the schooling list for the remainder of the Epsom Downs meeting except China Boy, Allegory and Blonde Baggage. Odie Clelland, trainer for Mrs. R. J. Murphy, Evansville sportswoman, shipped five horses to Arlington Downs, Wednesday night, in charge of Charlie Hainesworth, and seven others will be sent Saturday night. Those in the shipment to the Fort Worth track are the two-year-olds Parade Step, Marna, Misstep and Zelady and the older Ima Greenock and Stepinanna. Apprentices Eddie De Prang and "Chuck" Parke, among the leading riders during the Epsom Downs meeting, got away Wednesday night for Arlington Downs and will get into action on the opening days program. De Prang joins the Dave Christian stable! while Parke reports to Benny Creech. Due to her winning effort in the first race Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. E. B. Shipps Mor-ley Firth became ineligible for the third race Wednesday and was automatically withdrawn. Jockey Frankie Munden, Canadian reins-man, who arrived from Montreal, had his initial mount of the Epsom Downs meeting when he rode Col. Zac in the opening race Wednesday afternoon. George Fritz, who has charge of the barn at Epsom Downs, made a canvass of the stables remaining at Epsom Downs and reported there are 425 horse3 still on the grounds available for racing.
