PONY RACE AT SPORTSMANS CICERO, 111., Oct. 22. As an added attraction on Fridays program at Sportsmans Park, the National Jockey Club will present a race engaging ponies from the International Stockyards. The race, on which there will be no mutuel wagering, will be presented between the regular fourth and fifth events, and the mounts, six of them, will be ridden by boys from the cattle pens of the stock yards. Owners of ponies in the race, which is to be at three furlongs, are T. Finnegan, J. Hanley, J. Kane, F. McCarthy, A. OMalley and T. ONeil. The riders will be M. ONeii, J. Burkey, T. ONeil, T. Law, T. Ryan and J. Kolpak. Names of the ponies are Roosevelt, Brown Jug, Checker, Sheik, Smokey and Strip.
