CONCLUDES HEAVY TRAINING Reaping Reward Gallops Five Furlongs Over Heavy Home wood Track in 1:03 Derby Move. HOMEWOOD, 111., June 10. The heavy training at- Washington Park of Latonia Derby candidates was completed this morning when the Milky Way Farms Reaping Reward went five furlongs over a sloppy track and around the "dogs" in 1:03. The son of Sickle, which may be accompanied to the post in the Latonia stake by Military, was only breezing in his gallop in which he was accompanied by Dogaway. They went the first half mile in :51. Reaping Reward and his stable companion were to leave here tonight, while Raoul Walshs Sunset Trail U. was scheduled to go at the same time. George Walsh, who conditions Sunset Trail TJ., said that Porter Roberts, who is now riding at Latonia, has been engaged to handle the Irish-bred three-year-old in the Kentucky fixture Saturday. The other two Latonia Derby candidates which have been training here left last night for the Covington track. They were Mrs. William H. Fursts Over The Top, and Val-dina Farms Eagle Pass.
