The latter, slow to. start and outrun for five-sixteenths, worked his way forward on the inside and was fast wearing the winner down at the end. KINROSS, lucky to find room when racing forwardly, closed with a rush. LOCKSTEP made lip ground on the outside in the drive. FUMBLE was never a factor. BLACKSOD was done after a half mile. The latter took command under energetic handling, established-a clear advantage after five-sixteenths, tired fast in the final eighth failed to withstand the winner, but held the others safe. TRAMWAY, unable to improve its early position, weaved his way forward through the field and finished strongly. BRIDES DELIGHT, unable to reach the lead, tired during the" final eighth. MARY SEIBERT was done after a half mile. JUST IMPERIAL was in close quarters.
