FLIM FLAM, hustled into a prominent position, was forced wide entering the home stretch and finished gamely under weak handling. IRRESOLUTE moved up midway of the turn, then quit when straightened into the home stretch. BAY STOUT went evenly. JIIM CORNELL was outrun. WAR JEST raced in dull fashion. GRANDMAS BOY bettered his position on the outside, challenged boldly in the. final eighth, drew up on even terms with the leader and finished in a dead heat. OLD DOMINION worked his way through a narrow opening to reach contention and fought it out gamely in the final test. FORGET NOT.. was unable to improve his position while turning in a good performance. BALANCED BUDGET was forced to lose ground all the way. CHOICE GOODS had a rough trip. WAUGH POP, at home in the going and having good speed under stout handling, withstood stiff contention from LILITH in the first half mile, was lightly punished when reaching the stretch, then drew out as if much the best. LILITH offered much opposition until reaching the stretch, then tired gradually. SETEMUP, in the first flight from the start, came through on the outside when the leaders came out at the stretch turn and closed strongly to finish in; a dead head for second. PRINCE MOWLEE bore over and blocked EMMA .BLY, going to the turn, went off stride and made a very wide turn into the stretch, while showing no ability in the footing.
