t AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES f " e W. M. Jeffords was among the visitors and witnessed the efforts of his two-year-old Godspeed in the first race Thursday. James W. Healy left for Chicago to saddle Inhale for J.iE "Whitney in the Princess Pat Stakes. Jockey L. Balaski will ride Inhale in her Chicago effort, while J. Gilbert will handle Flying Scot in the Latonia Derby. Jockey Wayne Wright will ride E. R. Bradleys Brooklyn in the Dwyer Stakes. Bert Michell arrived from Miami and said that he would transfer some of the E. D. Shaffer horses to Delaware Park for that meeting. John Gobel, one of the old guard, recovered from a recent illness and was among the visitors. Steeplechase jockey I. Wren was suspended for ten days by the stewards for an unsatisfactory ride on Yemasee. The steeplechaser Good Chance has been purchased by Paul Mellon and will campaign over the major tracks in the East for that sportsman, a son of Andrew Mellon. The former J. E. Widener jumper will be trained by J. T. Skinner, who has the main division of that sportsmans horses under his care.
