CHICAGO Off NER rfRlDMPHS J. D. Norris Danger Point Wins Ladkin Handicap at Aqueduct. Pasha Second After Meeting Wijthj Mlsf or-. tunes Double for G. D. wtderier, , Mulholland and Wrigfit;: , NEW YORK, N. Y., June jul-f Danger Point, which rac6s for J. D. Norris of Chicago and with some pull in the weights, was winner of the best offering at Aqueduct today when he scored rather easily in the Ladkin Handicap, which engaged nine three-year-olds. Myron Selzniks Pasha raced to second place and No Dice, from the Silver State Stable saved third from the filly Rouge et Noir. There came a heavy thunderstorm during the running of the third race that drove the crowd to shelter and at the same time changed the track condition,, which, undoubtedly had. some effect on the; running of the Ladkin, and Danger Point demonstrated that sloppy going was no handicap. From a good start, No Dice and Sharpshooter went to the front and Fasha went after them, with Arcaro taking him slightly in -hand when he reached his full stride. Danger Point followed the son of jThe Porter closely, racing outside of him, andithen came Buginarug, which did not seem to fancy the footing and was well back, while Ptolemy brought up the rear. Pasha was holding his position nicely as the turn from the back stretch was reached, with No Dice and Sharpshooter still showing the way, when he. was knocked back to lose some ground and at the same time. Danger Point moved up strongly, still taking the outside route; This was the order as the stretch turn was approached, but Sharpshooter was beginning to tire and Danger Point moved into second place and was close after No Dice. As Danger Point made his move Arcaro attempted to send Pasha through on the inside, but he was blocked there and his chance for victory vjas gone. Danger Point readily put No pipe away to come on to a victory of four lengths, while Pasha, after being pulled from the rail to pass No Dice, beat him a head for second, place. But for the misfortune it lis possible Pasha would have been the winner. The fifth brought a double for the Widener silks, W. F. Mulholland and jockey Wayne ; Wright when Court Dance, a son- of Jamestown and Flag Dance, carrying the George D. Widener silks, won easily over William DuPont, Jr.s, Supremist, and J. Ml Roeb-lings Invoke was third over Gravilla.
