I AGAWAM TURF NOTES 1 - k Paul J. Fox is expected here from New York with a small division of his stable. It was reported that Beefsteak, fast sprinter of the Mrs. L. H. Nimkoff stable, will be shipped to the farm of his owner by trainer Moe Simon. Beefsteak will be freshened up and prepared for racing during the fall season. Mrs. James D. Mooney stated here today that she will consider offers for the good sprinter, Allan Z., stout-hearted son of Pharamond H. and La Morlaye, which went amiss after his last race at Narragansett Park. Mrs. Mooney is endeavoring to dispose of the colt as a stock horse. Sallandry, Ejector and Miss Leannah, members of the Mrs. J. V. Stewart stable, were transferred to Suffolk Downs to join the division of the stable being consigned there by her husband, which came from Belmont Park. A check of riders that have ridden in races at Agawam Park reveals that fifty-eight have accepted -mounts, forty of which are full fledged riders and the remainder apprentices.
