t AGAWAM TURF NOTES I 4 : and C. Calhoun shipped a draft of his stable to Suffolk Downs to participate in the meeting now under way at that point. Mark Fator- of the riding family of that name, checked in from New York with Galon Boy and other useful members of his stable. Galon Boy was named for the Feeding Hills Purse today. Apprentice Willard Cook is considered by horsemen here as one of the best apprentice riders on the grounds. The twenty-year-old youngster, -who hails from Iowa, rode hia first winner im January at New Orleans. Since that time twenty-six more have been added to his list, four of which haye been earned here astride Lady Va Va, Traggat, Prairie Prince and Grandmas Boy. M. C. Shea, racing secretary, will provide the weights for the Wayside Handicap to horsemen early Friday morning. The Wayside will feature the Saturday program of .the Agawam Racing Association.
