RIVERSIDE BAS LARGE CROWD j Attendance Go o d Despite tnclem-. ency of Weather Track in Bad Condition. KANSAS: CITY, Mo., June 10. Seven 1 races made up Thursdays racing at Riverside Park arid despite the inclemency of the weather another good-sized crowd was in 1 the stands when the bugle called the horses for the first race. While the, entire card was 1 turned over to the plater brigade, interesting sport resulted, and formful racing prevailed 1 throughout, the afternoon. The traak, which was soaked from last nights rain, was very ! slow and as a result poor time was hung up. Showing a liking for the slow going and well ridden by Frankie Case, Marble Boy won the first race of his career when he i I ! easily led home a field of eleven that went postward for the first race, which called for maiden three-year-olds and up. Two and one-half lengths back of the winner came the early pacemaker, My Empress, which ! easily held Roll Home safe for the place. The winner was a lukewarm favorite in the donations and paid a little better than two to one.
