t SUFFOLK DOWNS TURF NOTES i$ : : . $ Willis Sharpe Kilmer and H. H. Cross are the latest rquesting nomination blanks for the $.10,000 added Yankee Handicap, which closes June 15. The Yankee is at one mile and three-sixteenths, and exclusively for three-year-olds. It is to be run Saturday, July 24th. Scratch time at Suffolk Downs for all races, including stakes, will be 8 a. m. In the future. H. H. Cross, who races under the nom de course of the Tranquillity Farm, is shipping his stable from the mid-west to Suffolk Downs. Stalls are bedded down to take care of the Three Ds stable, which is shipping from Latonia. Starter Jim Miltons schooling list now numbers twenty-six horses. So many requests for stabling room at Rockingham Park have been received by racing secretary H. D. Monroe, that horsemen are requested, not to ship to .the Salem course unless notified that stalls have been reserved for them. Starter Bob Frend has lined up his ground crew for the Rockingham meeting. He will be assisted by J. Hennessey, Eddie Pressy, Ray Yerian, J. Saelfrank, Maurice Kuyken-dall and Bill Calvert. P. O. Anderson, trainer for C. R. Andersons string, wired that he is shipping to Suffolk Downs from Detroit and, will arrive here tonight with five head.
