FREDALOU WINS EASILY Utteliers Clipsetta Candidate Wins . Feature Race at Latonia; Rain Falls Continuously With Track a Sea of Mud -Jockey Packer Rides Three Winners. LATONIA, Ky., June 10. Under extremely-adverse weather and track conditions here this afternoon F. P. Letelliers Clipsetta Stakes nominee, Fredalou, easily trounced five others which included Clipsetta and Cincinnati Trophy candidates in the Kindergarten Purse, fifth and feature race on the eight race program, which had small fields in the majority of instances. Although Fred-alous margin of victory was only one length over R. L. Stivers Don Moss, it was rather an impressive score. Noticing, racing for C. R. Thompson, finished third, while Tea Hound, Liberty Scout arid Snowbird followed the leading trio in the order named. In spite of the inclement weather, a steady rain falling virtually throughout the day, and making the track a veritable sea of mud, the program was witnessed, by a good crowd. With diminutive Dee Packer making up the 107 pounds that Fredalou carried, the fleet daughter of Dominant Hell Cat proved capable of splashing over the five furlongs in., front for the entire distance and was never in, danger, though she swung wide entering the stretch and continued bearing out all down the stretch. I NOTICINGS EFFORT IN VAIN. Noticing, which had been prominently mentioned as a strong; possibility, for the Clipsetta, due to some speedy trials, attempted to catch Fredalou during the first half mile, but the effort was in vain, as the New Orleans-owned filly held the forward position without strenuous urging. The effort put forth by Noticing began to tell on the filly as they headed into the stretch and set sail for the wire, and Don Moss, which began sluggishly, finished with a good burst of speed under vigorous riding to get up in time to garner second place by a neck margin. Fredalou was a heavily-backed favorite and in carrying Packer to victory, enabled the youngster from Idaho to chalk up his third win of the afternoon, he having previously scored with Inflame and Blaze DOr. In the Elmhurst Claiming Purse, at a mile arid a sixteenth, which served as the secondary feature, Mrs. R. J. Murphys Blessed Again scampered to an easy victory, her second straight. Wise Bessa finished second, six lengths back of the winner, with Red Raider third. W. L. Johnson, who was astride Blessed Again, a pronounced choice, did not attempt to outsprint Black Arrow during the first five furlongs,, keeping the brown mare well within striking distance. Approaching the stretch bend, Blessed Again moved around the pacemaker with comparative ease, and completely asserted her superiority.
