1 SUFFOLK DOWNS TURF NOTES $ , Jockey Johnny Barba was suspended five days by the stewards for rough riding astride Consistent in the second race. Despite rumors to the contrary, H. Radtke will remain in charge of the string campaigned by T. P. and W. F. Morgan. A. Schwartz is anxious to dispose of the Royal Minstrel miss, Mock Modesty, to some breeder to serve as a brood mare. Jockey R. Howell came up from New York to pilot Bill Farnsworth in the Plymouth Rock Handicap. Mrs. Marion Cas-sidy and a party of friends also made the trip from Gotham to witness the performance of the son of Crack Brigade. R. Hightshoe, who fell afoul of the stewards several days ago, was granted permission to fulfill his engagement on The Fighter in the Plymouth Rock, having been engaged before incurring his suspension. Jockey Glen Haines is the latest addition to the rider colony at Suffolk Downs.
