The latter, never far back and on the outside, moved up strongly apprbaching the eighth post, then hung in the fiijar sixteenth. OTTOMAN, a factor from the start, saved ground on the turn, came to the outside for the drive and closed gamely. CHANCERY, outrun for a half mile, closed with good speed on the outside. WELL REWARDED, well up and on the outside early, was steadied around the turn, was taken to the inside for the drive and wore down HERMANA in the final eighth. HERMANA moved up with a rush on the outside to take command after a quarter, swung wide entering the stretch, then held on gamely under strong pressure. INHALE, on the inside and forced back slightly approaching the turn, came to the outside for the drive but failed to menace the leaders. MANIE OHARA, slow to find her best stride, made up ground in the final quarter when hard pressed. BLUEFIELD, away fast was forced back on the turn and gave way steadily thereafter. The latter, probably best, was shuffled back on the turn, was unable to find racing room on the inside and, when taken to the outside for the drive, closed strongest of all. MR. JOE, outrun for five-eighths, closed with good courage on the outside. HALLIARD, in hand for a half mile, challenged strongly approaching the eighth post, then gave way. BEL ESPOIR, away well, rushed up to take command after a quarter, opened a good lead - entering the Stretch, then tired slightly, but held BIOGRAPHY safe. The latter, taken in hand to allow BEL ESPOIR to make the early pace, saved ground on the turn, responded well when shaken up and was getting to the winner. FIRE ADVANCE, under reserve early, began working his way up after a half mile and finished stoutly. McCARTHY, outrun for five-eighths, saved ground on the stretch turn and finished well. The latter, outrun, for about a half mile, moved up fast thereafter on the outside and finished courageously. WILD TRANSIT worked her way up steadily after a half mile, came to the outside for the drive and finished well. MOUSE TRAP moved into the lead after a half mile, opened a good lead on the second turn and then tired in the drive. BUNGLER quit after a half mile. CANNONS ROAR had no mishaps.
