BEULAH PARK SPRING MEETING ENDS GROVE CITY, Ohio, June 12. Every Effort, racing for Richards and Hammack, never left the result in serious doubt during the running of the Ben Brew Trophy, featured offering at Beulah Park this afternoon. Coming from far back Brother Thomas outstayed Bea M. for the second award. . Clarence E. Givinn made the presentation of the handsome Ben Brew trophy to E. Beougher, trainer of Every Effort, after the race. B. W. Miller made the presentation of a handsome watch to jockey J. R. Hill, rewarded for being the leading winning rider at this meeting. With the running of this afternoons card came the wind-up of the meeting. The majority of the stables racing here, together with the riders, will go from here to Lancaster, the next meeting in Ohio, which opens June 26. Ideal weather prevailed but the races were contested over a heavy drying out track. An excellent half holiday crowd attended.
