LATONIA CLOSED MONDAY LATONIA, Ky., June 12. Permission to reduce its current meeting from thirty-seven days to thirty-three days, as asked by the Latonia Jockey Club and granted by the Kentucky State Racing Commission several days ago, was formally confirmed at a meeting of the turf body held at Latonia this afternoon. Three successive Mondays, beginning next week, and Tuesday, July 6, will find Latonia dark. The five days a week schedule was adopted as an experiment here.
