CANTER FOR FAIR KNIGHTESS Odds -On Favorite Easily Makes Good in ,500 Bostonian Stakes. Bill Farnsworth Takes Plymouth Rock Handicap, Days Dual Feature, Before 42,000 Bostonlans. BOSTON, Mass., June 12. The public sent H. C. McGehees Fair Knightess to the post at 9 to 10 in the Bostonian Handicap, for fillies and mares, one of a pair of ,500 added features at Suffolk Downs this afternoon, and Fair Knightess won the event just as an odds-on choice should win. She won it all the way and not once was the result in doubt. At the end she had five open lengths to spare on her nearest rival and the others were laboring behind her. Previously Bill Farnsworth, also a strong choice, had shown the way to a fast field in the Plymouth Rock Handicap. A. J. Sacketts Tabitha, which defeated Fair Knightess the other day, was nearest to her at the finish of the Bostonian, but she was not very near. She finished a length in front of Danny Sullivans stretch-running filly, Trina. Willis Sharpe Kilmers Sun Cel-erina took what was left of the purse. Fair Knightess raced the distance in 1:45, time that was far from sensational, over a lightning fast track. She earned ,015. Fair Knightess was in front all the way and was drawing away as the race progressed. Not once was Kacala forced to urge her with the whip or hand ride her. PROVES HER SUPERIORITY. She was just too much horse for those behind her. Sunset Girl chased her into the back stretch. Peggy Porter took up the chase midway in the back stretch. She lasted in second place until they straightened out, then she tired, winding up next to last. As the latter quit and the leader bounded off to an even bigger margin, Tabitha drove up in a fruitless attempt to catch the" filly She could not do that but she had little trouble in saving second place. Trina, as. usual,- did no running until the eighth post was passed. Then she got down to business and raced past tiring horses in. rapid order, although never menacing the leading pair. Warm, sunny weather brought 42,000 fans to Suffolk Downs and the crowd was betting heavily. The six furlongs Plymouth Rock Handicap was the first of the ,500 added features to be decided.
