ECKENER SEES PRESIDENT WASHINGTON, D. C, May 21.— Dr. Hugo Eckener, famous German Zeppelin builder, and Hans Dieckhoff, German Ambassador to the United States, held a conference with President Roosevelt Friday and the question of making American helium available for use in German airships was discussed. Eckener left the White House highly optimistio over the prospects of the eventual sale of the gas to Germany.
