It will be noticed that Seabiscuit has only a mediocre record at two and three but showed to greater advantage at four and five. War Admirals only stake success as a juvenile was in the Eastern Shore Handicap, but at three he captured the Triple Cown— Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes— as well as other events.
