George Alexandra has changed his plans and instead of going to Toronto to saddle Slycat in the Kings Plate, will remain at Suffolk Downs. L. Woodstock saddled the Merry Monarch three-year-old in the Canadian classic. J. W. Y. Martin has arranged to ship nine from Belmont Park to arrive at Suffolk Downs Monday night. Battle Jack, second in the Commonwealth Handicap last Saturday at the Boston course, will be included in the shipment. Way Yonder and Hi Money purchased by R. A. Coward at the public auction at Belmont Park Thursday unloaded Friday morning at Suffolk Downs. Duval Headley telegraphed from New York requesting six stalls here for the string he plans to transfer from the Metropolitan circuit. Walter Carter returned Clodion to Belmont Park immediately after the running of the Puritan Handicap Saturday.
