1 BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES $ . — . * Jockey J. Bellhouse presented a certificate from his physician which permitted him to ride in the steeplechase race. This is in line with the ruling passed last year. Bob Mozer, a former jockey, registered his colors and applied for a trainers license. The E. R. Bradley horses were shipped from Lexington to Belmont Park on Sunday. C. B. Bohn, part owner of the Bomar Stable, was on hand for the day. P. A. Markey will be here next week to remain for the meeting. Trainer George Odom surprised horsemen and railbirds when he sent his charges post-ward with new white leather brides, a departure from the usual leather color. J. H. Stotler came up from Baltimore to saddle Red Pepper in the Withers for A. G. Vanderbilt. He said that the other horses in the stable would be shipped here the latter part of the week after recovering from bucked shins and coughing. Frank Smith was on hand for the afternoon and reported that he had heard nothing new in connection with winter racing at Oriental Park next winter. The horses at Aqueduct are back galloping slowly following a siege of coughing. Trainer Doc Crawford said that W. S. Kilmers Nedayr was back in light training and that he hoped to have his charge ready for the Dwyer at Aqueduct.
