SUFFOLK DOWNS N0TES~| Jockeys Nick Wall and Johnny Longden returned to New York after riding Clodion and Teufel in the Puritan Handicap here Saturday. Jockey Albert Shelhamer swung into action Saturday at Suffolk Downs, accepting five mounts during the afternoon. Shelhamer, under contract to H. G. Bedwell, was one of the leading riders of the Maryland season. Ivan Parke is reported to have turned down an offer of 0,000 for the contract of Freddie Schieh. Schieh is setting the pace among the riders at Suffolk Downs. Stop Light has been placed on the schooling list by starter • Fiend.
